Ceramic laminates

Ceramic veneers permanently improve your smile and restore confidence. Ceramic veneers are a permanent prosthetic solution for aesthetic irregularities of the teeth. They are used in cases of inappropriate tooth color, irregular shape and position of teeth, when there are gaps between teeth, or when there are traces of tooth wear and enamel cracking.

Veneers are made from metal-free ceramic systems that provide the most beautiful aesthetic results. Their mechanical properties allow excellent resistance in the mouth. They are made in a dental laboratory using computerized CAD-CAM technology, based on the scanning of an imprint of your teeth taken at our DOC Bandić.

The process of installing a ceramic veneer is completely painless and very comfortable. The most efficient solution is found for each patient, with monitoring and counseling throughout the entire process of making ceramic veneers.

When can and should Veneers be applied?

-When you want to change the color, shape, and size of your teeth
-When you want to reduce the gaps between your teeth
-When teeth discolored by tetracycline do not react to whitening
-In case of worn and thinned teeth
-In case of mild crowding (minor irregularities in the position of the teeth)
-When you want to rejuvenate aged, worn, and discolored teeth without shine

Aesthetic advantage of ceramic veneers

Ceramic veneers are an excellent alternative to metal-free crowns, especially in situations where aesthetic deficiencies need to be addressed with minimal removal of dental substance. They are most often placed on the front teeth where their appearance and aesthetic value are most pronounced.

Veneer therapy in most situations gives better results, primarily due to the better appearance of the gums, but also because significantly more dental substance is preserved. Very often during grinding, it is not even necessary to receive anesthesia because for most patients it is a completely painless procedure.

The special value of this method lies in the fact that its application does not require aggressive tooth grinding, but only the removal of a very thin layer of dental enamel. Veneers actually change the natural tooth enamel, so in this way the color of the teeth can be changed or minor corrections can be made to the position, size and overall appearance of the teeth.
